As a youngster I always wanted to create drawings, paintings and crafts but the talent alluded me.
So I found and followed a career in architecture where most things 'align' and I could create / design with a straight edge.
For over 45 years in the fields of architecture and construction I had been able to express my creativity. Not only in design, but with the methodology of crafting 'built' projects.
And yet, although this was a satisfying there were always the doodles in the margins and the late night paintings in the back of the garage. That youthful need was still there, always striving to get out.
I am now redefining this artistic drive and creating works on canvas.
I interpret the wonders of nature, expressing the strength, power and timelessness found in the sky, the sea and the land.
And I am learning to enjoy the concept that like a good story, a painting is never finished....
